I sold my 1966 F100 earlier this week, and then stumbled upon this beauty (also a 66) a couple of days later. Purchased new by the sellers father. All original, even the paint!

That's crazy to think that paint is almost 50 years old and still looks that good.
Unrelated question: How difficult is it to haul a car on a trailer like that? I've been considering buying a Nissan Leaf in California and trailering it back up Canada.

I know right! It's not perfect by any means. It's cracking in spots, and starting to flake in places but you just can't find them THIS original anymore. I've looked at lots of them and 99% are ate up with rust, and on their 2nd or 3rd paint jobs.
It's really not that bad. You just have to leave extra distance to stop.

Thanks man, I love it except for the towing mirrors.

I love west coast mirrors but yeah they don't do the truck any favors. You could probably sell them on ebay for some cash.

I would but removing them would leave 4 holes in each door. Which would make me want to have them filled, and the doors painted. Just can't do it since the paint is original.

The struggle is real.
